As a Friend of Hano Academy – YOU CAN be an ambassador for the Academy; teach or host a fundraising event. You can also sponsor a student or help donate equipment!
Mentor
Mentors can be connectors and as a mentor you will get a chance to visit and speak to the beneficiaries. You will provide mentorship career wise and in terms of goal achievement.
Donation
You can send your donations to help us serve the needy Somali youth and women. Your contribution will help in training and educate disadvantaged students in Somalia.
Volunteer
Hano Initiative values the role of Volunteers. You can volunteer as a trainer, coach or even by offering free services at the Institution.

About Us
Hano Initiative is a charitable initiative under the UK-registered charity EOW-Charity (Charity Registration Number1156327). The sole purpose of this Initiative is either to donate an amount or to sponsor orphaned or underprivileged youth and women to study at Hano Academy.
Your financial support will help to provide scholarships to such students enabling them to acquire the relevant skills and a quality education at Hano Academy that will make them independent and shape their future.
Hano Academy is the first and only accredited Academic Progression and Polytechnic Academy in Somalia that offers:
- Languages and Professional Development Courses and Training to academics, civil servants, university graduates and formally educated individuals
- Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) to technical labour-oriented individuals
